[ He waits. Always he waits. ]

He waits. Always he waits.
What he is waiting for i do not know
But he's always there
At the waters edge
Watching the water
Motionless,
Like the water
Motionless
Like me...

He sits, as i watch
I always watch him
Every night.
Hes so beautiful...
Watching the water
Like he always does
Every night.
He waits.
For what, i do not know...

But one night
It changes
I weep
She rises.
Dressed in blue or
Lavender
And she wears the pendant,
The sea pendant
Oh she is beautiful...

He's leaving with her
How could he?
My heart breaks
Ive waited my life for you
He whispers
Ive waited my life for you
Youve waited long enough
She sighs
Long enough...

I watch them both now.
I am old.
Old as the sun it seems.
They are young
Still young
And beautiful.
They walk. Together
Hand in hand...
Into time.

No, You didn't break any rules. Thank you for actuallyl reading them. It was different and bold. I like it. In the first stanza the last two lines were a bit unecessary. It kinda dragged out the poem a bit too long. otherwise pretty good.

    Thank you for entering.
