From the firmament a soulful cry is heard
for innocence was cut before it bloomed.
The angels cleave the skies with lullabies
as another martyr walks the halls of time;
and a whispered sigh now asks, when will they learn.

The most burning question to be asked. Indeed,why? This important piece is miles deep in the human soul. And a fantastic interpratation of the image.

Beautiful but sad!
'for innocence was cut before it bloomed.'
I read this three times and kept thinking of Ophelia...
I try not to read the poetry of some of the young people at AP who dwell in this place your write about here. And yet you make it beautiful to read about and look at... that is your unique ability dear Di!
This was a good one, Jane
