Eating disorders... in particular, realizing and almost being able to accept what's wrong with you; but it's so hard to accept that you're not right, that the fat you see in the mirror isn't real, that you have an illness.
And of wanting your obsession with weight, eating, etc to end so you can live your life; yet at the same time, still craving the days of being 105 pounds...

Oh, i wanted to let you know that i posted a poem on your contest. Its kind of tough love. its describing what a girl looks like when she is suffering with this. I do know some things about it. 2 of my friends suffered badly. and i am actually describing my friend. i am going to critique it to fit better on your contest. because i was kind of mad at her for doing this to herself when i wrote it. thanx and im glad you are doing better.

Yeah, I've done this
I've been anorexic, or at least a bit. I will refuse to eat every day, maybe eat a meal. I don't try to, but I just feel fat, even though I am a freshman who weighs 114 lbs!
Your poem is great; I love the style and the feel of it. You did very well with this; the words from the wordbank flow freely in it, and it wasn't like you made it sound emo, like some people do with their eating disorder poems. :]
