Black wings against a dark sky
I see you fly.
I watch with awe,
as I see fire from your maw;
envelop the world below
and set it all aglow.
Beautiful yet terrible,
you're hardly comparable;
to the pictures on the wall,
with the fear you install.
It's amazing to think
that you bring to the brink
all of man's wonders;
with your wings' thunders.
A creature from fiction
was our affliction.
You were our killer
yet it's such a chiller
to be so naieve;
now I believe,
you're our saviour.
Author notes
A dragon's judgement on the world below so that like the pheonix from the ashes it may arise anew.
yeah...it's wierd but hey it rhymes. Kinda.

Nice and descriptive here, I like it. I also like the word maw in this, it's a different word but very nice. Mystical and prettyful
