The strain of day will last until the night
At which point light is slaughtered by the dark
And when light finds it's blinding strength again
The darkness shatters from it's weakened heart
Each year perpetuated by the next
Yet difference constitutes the former's death
Then after just ten decades name themselves
A century will waste them without rest
Dates and days at war with one and other
Without remorse worth labelling as just
When titles become no more than a cover
I wonder could time ever deserve trust
I know that I would never trust a day
When seven times as long is slain by Week
My eyes are strong and true enough to see
That time is just a cycle of defeat

Sad and seems full of pain and anguish, but it seems like there is hope. There always is
