Sustained apathy
Transforms
Into a suddenly, startling blue
Brilliant against the sunlight
Patterns swirling against
The outline of your face
Venomous envy
Becomes
Beautiful grace
Tracing your footsteps
Bridges ignited
Pathways illuminated
Murderous hate
Softens
Into melodious laughter
Gently brushing your fingertips
Waited for so long
Chains
On my wrists
Dissolve into silk
As you take a hold of them
Looking in my eyes
Take a step
Pain
Kept underneath forever
Has been set free and disappears
Beyond the silver sunset
You created for me
My world
So dark and at its end
Has burst into glorious bloom
Because your voice brought it to life
This is love

This is a wonderful poem and it would've done very well but LOVE couldn't be in the title. Sorry. Great work nontheless.

a good mixture of light and dark here with your poem's imagery, finding the way to love's gracious smile, a good poem
