Bleeding Moons

Missing image

Beneath a bleeding moon she feeds,
desire burning matched with need.
Conquered by the urge to devour,
submitting to great feelings of power.

Entombed during hours of sunlight,
evil unleashed so sweetly at night.
Eliminating all who cross their path,
shattered reflections venting wrath.

Glazed blood lies frozen in veins,
Conscience gone, no pity for pain.
Soul departed with her sires kiss,
Together they create a bleak abyss.

Eternally she will love only one,
he who made her what she's become.
Enraptured by her beauty, he leads,
under a bleeding moon, they feed.

Very dark, very good. The imagery is fantastic and excellent, I'd even go so far as to all this more of a story then a poem because I can see the images in my head as you've written them. The whole poem flows very well and it's very smooth but I love stanzas two and four the most.
