Colors of the Rain

I'll paint for you a picture
With purples and with blues
I'll paint for you a love-song
In alternating hues

Orange from the flowers
Bright yellow of the sun
Green, blue, and indigo
From the river's run

Silver-lined stormclouds
Lend their colors to me
Plum, rich and vivid
Purple running free

But where is there a red
True enough for love?
Apples are far too pale -
I'll paint it with my blood.

What an interesting emotional twist at the end!

I must say, very nicely done on this one!

You might think about trimming it here and there in places to preserve the simplistic, flowing style your lines represented.

    Blessings,

    C

But... but the red is there... it's in the last line.

Yes, everyone deserves that and more. Unfortunately, there are not too many couples that devoted.
