Sitting at the feet of Jesus,
Basking in His presense sweet,
At the end of a long a weary day,
So my spirit its maker meets.
Things that seemed so hard and harsh,
That caused my soul to waver,
Like shadows in a new dawns light
Give way to divine favour.

I can empathize with your words here. Especially love the line: "Basking in His presence sweet". What a good description!
How true that often during the day's work there are things "hard and harsh," things that make us waver... but then as we sit at Jesus' feet they melt away. What a Friend we have in Jesus!! He is, indeed, our Haven of Rest.
One suggestion: I think "maker" in line 4, should be capitalized as it is one of God's titles.
Lovely piece!
