Alone in the dead of winter,
It is the deafening silence of a tomb,
We dance in a dying springtime…
Just wilted flowers of youth,
One and all...
Saints and sinners,
We stand on the edge of the crack of doom,
Crusaders of death come galloping,
They drop their masks,
No longer afraid to reveal the truth,
The war pigs are on the rise again,
The opening theme to the beginning of the end,
Singing choruses of well rehearsed lies,
The instruments of destruction alive their eyes,
The world is left a spinning grave,
Fools fight for victory…
When there's nothing left to save,
The reaper takes hold,
The bullets take their toll,
They ride steeds of fire…
To burn down the home of the brave,
Thieves have come to steal the rest of her soul,
Hear the mountains rumble…
As the earth fractures and crumbles,
They have taken it all away ;
Hear the overture at the end of the show,
Who do we blame,
Who do we stone,
When you face that question in judgment,
Was the only answer you found…
"I do not know"?
There will be nowhere left to hide,
From the ghosts of children clawing at your side,
There will be nothing you can do,
No scream will shatter that frozen sky,
No cry will spark that long forgotten light,
As the cold winds blow…
We will dance toe to toe…
Cheek to cheek in the nuclear night,
Feel the ice bloom and blossom,
We exchange one final frozen kiss,
As the numbing pain ignites…
The freezing fire of frostbite ;
The earth still turns in the breath of eternal winter,
Long buried in a silent tomb,
Witness the death of our springtime,
Just a trampled flower of youth,
No more saints,
No more sinners,
All faded away into the crack of doom,
Regret has made it's home here,
Nobody cries,
Nobody lies,
Judgment cannot be changed…
In the face of justice and rage…
Or in the hands of vengeance and fate ;
All is frozen…
They took it all away,
All is frozen…
They took us all away ;
