Who should I believe?
He says she's honest,
She says he's lying,
But he's the one who seems sincere,
And she's the one with the motive.
I am in a hole,
A pit,
A dank ditch full of thorny rocks.
I see two ladders,
Two escapes,
But only one is true.
The other one will beckon me until I climb it,
But as soon as I see the surface,
The light,
It will laugh
And drop me,
Watch me plunge to the bed of rocks,
My death,
And the other ladder will shake its head and murmer,
"I told you..."

it's still the same old story
i like this one quiet a bit it's not my favorite poem by you but i think it's a step in the right direction
May i ask you something? By any chance would i be the dying puppy, if so i'm flattered if not i'm vain
there is another thing i must ask but...Perhaps this thing would be better to ask in person -
Sounds like you are in a conundrum. There is a hodgepodge of things in this piece. Well written.
