Cockcrow

Missing image
Embossed and awakened
Squandered and self forsaken
Hierarchy can't help me
For they are a mere reflection,
of total self mutilation
Gaged and bound
For centuries, not a sound
I have become what I have found
The mirrors won't let me go
Push up bras and satin gauze,
its a sad, sad show
Oh, and I've wondered why...
why this just won't die
Surrendered to its ego
So follow me down
Down the staircase of the soul

Wake up now, its cockcrow

Hmmm... I love the flow to this one.. Very nicely done... It really came from the alliteration... the usage of rhyme... Something of a mixture of different poetic elements. I really like how you have done this one. The descriptions are perfect ~ your words are perfect... Overall... Just amazing.

    ~ Yet again... Wonderful
