Can't see past the open flames,
To you across the way,
Though y9our silhouette is there,
I cannot see your face,
I wish your eyes in my mind,
Looking onto my face,
Need entering your gaze,
Like the flames hold me,
Mesmerized,
Entranced,
My body your embers,
Keep you starving for air,
The heat making you dazed,
Knowing,
After all this time,
It is you I've craved.
