You can’t fix stupid, no matter what you do.
The premise isn’t feasible for either me or you.
When you see examples around you every day,
Remember the solution is to simply walk away.
“Stupid is as stupid does”, said Bubba’s running friend.
It surely isn’t something anyone can easily mend.
To try and fix this malady’s impossible at best,
You won’t succeed, your nerves get frayed, you will become quite stressed.
We all have seen examples and no matter where you go,
The stupidness of some we see is plainly there to show,
How futile the endeavor of attempting to repair,
Shortcomings of this genre have you tearing out your hair.
The problem may be invested into our family tree,
And fixing it’s not possible with any type of ease.
We just accept the throwback symptoms, and hope to not compound,
Through marriage to our children whose minds we pray are sound.
We often note the problem in the college kids today,
They hide it well with flowery words, until they slip and say,
How experience in life is not important to the young,
They show mistakes in judgment that control their rampant tongue.
You should know you can’t fix stupid, because it fights you so,
We never can attempt it ‘cause the uptake is too slow.
The chance repairing of the problem never can we try,
Even with prayer to find the answer from Heaven above on high.
A person will be stupider with ingestion of the booze,
Feeling bullet-proof and ten feet tall, you’d think they’d get the news,
That this road leads to stupider and trouble-making woes,
So dumb that it presents itself from head to stupid toes.
If stupid parents are your lot then you have an increased chance,
Of being stupid evermore and seeming at a glance,
To not improve your chances due to inherent inherited genes,
Or saving of your impaired brain by matriculated means.
Some manifest their stupidity by coming in to work,
Sick and sniffly with a cold not caring with a smirk,
If their germs invade your body and your boss is powerless,
To send them home because the business bylaws don’t impress.
And when it comes to breaking laws the stupid reign supreme.
At stop signs and speed limit zones, their dumb oft times regime,
Is to not stop and speed on through because it does not seem,
To them they need to obey rules is their American Dream.
We see them at the grocery store where standing there in line,
They pick their nose and cough up phlegm while seeming to define,
The perfect stupid person that they are so unaware,
Of seeming to all others that they are too thick to care.
So no, you can’t fix stupid, no matter what you say,
It is a mere reflection of society today.
We cannot breed it out, it’s forever here to stay,
And no we cannot fix it no matter how we pray.
