Hi, Apparition. Your thoughts go lovely with your picture. I look at the picture and wonder whether the sun is setting or rising. I guess with the wip of what appears to be fog, that tells me it's morning.

I find it neat that after the first line of your poem you add a second set of eyes. But you don't ride that (the second set of eyes) through the poem in an obvious way, though. Instead, you just hint at giving the other set faith of optimism. Very effective.

    Thanks for an enjoyable read,

    Kley

ps. Did you take that photo yourself?

    Positive

Extract - refine, positive piece of literature. It's been so long since I've been here, this was refreshing. I hope you are doing well. Just wanted to say hello and make my rounds.

      Thank you

      Hi Brian,
So good to hear from you again and thank you for taking
      a moment to say hello.
Your son is adorable!!! No doubt you and Kathy are enjoying every moment, every milestone.
I tried to reply earlier, but it didn't seem to take.
So, if you get this twice...you'll know why.

Even though I often have to jump tracks
if just to see what is "out there" beyond the steel
I know I can always return at any point I "choose"
to once again resume my "journey" along the path
    that others have followed.

One must also remember the time before the rails.
They were not always there, but added by those
willing to "take a chance" and made sacrifices.

We may know where those rails lead, but we can
never determine the conditions we will encounter
    along the way there.

Just as all changes as move move along that track
so too all changes as we take each step here.
We can not determine the change, but we can determine
our REaction to that change. That power is the power of choice, and therein lies all the strength we need.

Keep chugging on down that line Maddie and I'll
see you went I get to the end...

    Hugs...Eddy
