I close my eyes,
but sleep I can't find.
I lay my head to rest,
but are once more denied.
The highest mountain,
I can't climb.
I just lay here silently,
watching the time.
I can't slip to sweet dreams,
or touch the sky.
I can't find sleep,
and I don't know why.
My body is tired,
but my mind is swimming;
my eyelids are heavy,
the world is dimming.
So I think I'll try,
to close my eyes,
to drift from reality,
and touch the sky.
