    I thought it was good until . . .

    I read your comment that it is a play on words, then my mind raced in many directions and in a few of them I changed my mind to a very good poem. Great job - especially with the knowledge gained. ~ Timothy

    That is really beautiful. Sometimes short poems can be the most powerful. My favorite line of all is "infinite patience". Your word choices are all very gentle and sweet. Though you titled it "Puppy Love" it seems that this kind of love could go even deeper. Nice work overall!
