Tears Wasted
No matter what, everybody cries.
It doesn’t matter what about.
Some just can’t handle all life’s lies,
and some weep when they laugh.
Some will only cry when in pain,
while others will when they see the harm.
I only cried when you left me,
but now I can finally see,
those tears of sorrow were wasted.
I should have thanked you,
Now I have the experience.
It, now, makes me so happy!
You’ll still see tears of joy in my eyes,
because, no matter what everybody cries.

I felt the exact same thing when my boyfriend dumped my cuz he was going to "take himself out" (which he didn't) but i realize now that he did me a favour! you are an amazing poet!
