Unspoken Words

Many things a photo says, are only murmurs of all that can't be seen.
memories of those days are faded but not forgotten, man just never learns.
Finding words for what you see may be easier than what you don't,
then some things a mans sees and carries inside have no words

His tacit struggle between his own moral convictions resolute
and unanswered waning years of antiquated false misconceptions;
passing times absent visuals of humanities forgotten reminders.

Even after all these years, of infamy's nightmare retrospect,

lessons man has never learned.

Dark clouds remorse enshroud my spirits aging consciousness,
there are no photos of my
hearts images, unspoken words I'll never forget.

    Thank You!!

    Thank You for Your entry: Unspoken Words
    This one tugged at the Heartstrings and Spirit~
    I kept feeling pain and just uncontrolled sobbing~
    like flashbacks of events in a persons life that sparked memories...not too pleasant...
    I keep hearing: roadside bomb...roadside bomb
    and like left behind wife and children...
    This swelled the eyes

    These lines grabbed and pulled~
    His tacit struggle between his own moral convictions resolute
    and unanswered waning years of antiquated false misconceptions;
    passing times absent visuals of humanities forgotten reminders.

    Marvelous take on the prompt~

    Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
    Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
    **Judging will be done shortly...

    Hidden agendas impact on the minds of man. If a picture paints 1000 words why did we have to learn to read and write...excellent take on the prompt...hope it serves you well in this contest but perhaps the power of your thoughts rise above the trophies.

    Unspoken words that taunt our memories of things we have seen. Memories fade in time, the words lost if not written. Photograhps capture the mement, but never expalined. Wonderful poem and so well stated. Good luck in the contest. ~Sie
