Bad Trip

I can feel it coming on
Scratching beneath my skin
I close my eyes
I want to take it all in

My body feels amazing
Like I'm ready to fly
Am I finally free
Or am I just really high

I begin to panic
This is just to much
I start to think about
How I ruin everything I touch

When is this going to end?
I just want it to stop
I can feel it in my head
As my brain cells begin to pop

I have had bad trips before
But this one took the cake
I saw my life for what it is
And how fast it's going to break

    Life can have its' ups and downs as we try to make the best of any bad situation. I do hope there is a friend around that a shoulder can be leaned upon, but there is one here just in case. Another is due here I believe. I want to thank you for your entry into the following contest: "To Be Put On My Favorites List."
