Mercury bubbles burst in glee,
valiant sapphires rain in the sea.
Platinum waves twist and twirl,
tepid designs begin to unfurl.
Hidden within the fossilized sands,
ready to lend a helping hand.
When sheer cyclonic rapids clash,
upon the rocks, mighty ships crash.
Vessels bend easily, before they break,
revealing gems for me to take.
Beneath the surface, yawning deep,
salvaging indigo souls to keep.
Absorbing power within the silt,
as bygone bodies begin to wilt.
With my beauty I tarnish and taint,
contaminating masses without restraint.
Luring reality with self-will,
Devouring till I've had my fill.
Mournful mermaids hide from me,
for I am Vibrant, Queen of the sea.
