Look and see
Dirty
Grimy
Scarred
Weathered
Nothing of beauty or value
or is there?
Underneath I see
Beauty
Strenght
Perfection
Uniqueness
a treasure
but it takes the eyes
of one who can see
underneath
the hurts
the abuse
the pain
the fear
the lack of trust
to see
a person of worth
a special one
who's value is not
determined by
the surface paint
