so whATs there to say?
Nothing
not a word
not a breath
no words
silence is neither golden nor peaceful
but an agonizing death
or imprisonment
you’re trapped in with no way out.
downward spiral of sleepless nights
and depression inducing days
tears, fears, and secrets locked away deep inside your brain
twisting your stomach inside out and turning your heart outside in
grabbing it in a vice ‘til it pops
and outpours your soul
and everyone you held in it
love doesn’t live here
trust doesn’t live here
openness doesn’t live here
secrets live here
insecurity lives here
loneliness lives here
an empty shell where your heart was supposed to be.
that can’t be filled by anyone……..

Oh, hey, I forgot to give you these applause before I hit submit.

This was good. I liked the internal rhyme in line 11. I had a thought, that you could change "out pours" to "outpours" to give it a double meaning, although this poem, in my eyes, needs no real improvement
