Emotional duress

Emotional duress,
dressed in happiness.

put to the test,
of a heart pretending not to be depressed.

unholy words replaced by unholy thoughts,
that make Christian words have no meaning.

eyes that burn a hole in others with thoughts
of illicit undoing.

wondering, wandering through the maze,
that life’s haze has made around me.

every turn’s the wrong one,
making me fall apart, even  coming undone.

panic, frustration, spiritual annihilation.

the glass is not half full
not half empty.
Just empty.

coming out, staying in.
just completely putting a padlock on the door.
dropping the key in the fiery pits of hell where the bible says I am supposed to be.

spf infinity, wear it
especially if u think like me,
and feel the way I do.
