Clusters of memories molding on the table.
Giving the only love you see.
Swallowed by your greatest fears, but never worry.
There's no one to reassure you that it's alright to be this way.
It's funny to think that there's no space to breathe around here.
Break up these pawns, for life is just like chess.
Except the board is a neverending circle.
Repeating all of karma's patterns, making things look surreal.
I'd give the world to have a probable cause.
For I walk this hundred mile street, where all of the houses are identical.
Feeling lost, but I hang myself up to dry.
Where you opened up my eyes by finding self worth in me.
With nothing left to give, I stand indignant to my morals.
Knocking me down to my knees, I'm uplifted by retrogading games.
You cut me down where I realize that the world is still turning.
Yet I shy away from the life I want to live.
Sleeping day after day, waiting for you to come back to me.
Mile after mile, these streets start to narrow.
But the yearning mist remains in the air.
I will no longer wait for life to pass, though everything's still the same.
Because I feel the urge to let you know the only fact known to man.
That you belong to me.
So let me take your defenders, but don't forfeit this game.
For I understand the flesh wounds you have from opening your heart up.
And the scar you have from resealing it again.
But brave we people shall become, taking risks surely to ache the fighters.
For I no longer have to wonder around, hoping for a new found soul to approach me.
Let me see who you really are, I can't take these mind games you play.
Swimming in a trail of thoughts, but knowing that I'm aiming accurately this time.
So I ask just this once for you to reveal your smiling face.
Where our souls can light up in our final sanctuary.
And keep these memories constant, never having to break the silence we lack.
Author notes
It's hard to explain this poem.
So I can't really tell you what it's about because it's about a lot of things.

Clearly there are multipul interconected subjects, but it's well written. It tells a good story, and has a great message I particularly like the part that goes:
But brave we people shall become, taking risks surely to ache the fighters.
For I no longer have to wonder around, hoping for a new found soul to approach me.
Let me see who you really are,
and also I like the part where you compaire life to a chess game, it's one of my favorites.
Good job
Good luck
Thanks for entering
