I bid farwell to winter.

I bid farewell to winter

and embrace the awakening spring

You're like C.P.R to this earth

'cause hearts beat when you sing.

I'll say hello to the daffodils

with their frilly Easter bonnets

and sit there by their side

and compose some nature sonnets.

So goodbye to you old winter

with your cold coloured blue's

i write this poem to springtime

in appreciation of her hue's.

I love to watch you every year

as your mother gives rebirth...

To daffodils and snowdrops

and all life upon this earth.

    I'm looking forward to it.

Beautiful, I am certainly ready. Windy and cold today, it felt like a November hunt in the wheat stubble, even though the daffodils are getting ready to bloom. I loved it.

A lovely poem - and yes, we through your eyes can see. There is 'spring' in your Spring, and I am glad you shared this with me. Good luck. Frans
