How goes she?

“Hush my dark prince hush”
“Sleep my light prince sleep”
“The witch will soon come after you killing you in your sleep”
“None will protect you everyone is asleep”
“Just like you should be instead you wanted to go wandering in the dark with only a mutt to guard you”
“Little vampire little vampire how goes thee?”
“Very well my little lamb”
“How goes she?”
“Fairly well I guess. She’s such a pest bothering me while the sun sets in the west.”
“How so? I want to know.”
“She rips at her restraints saying she must get to a boy. Tugging at her leash saying he needs her help. “What boy I say? She says she cannot say.”
“Maybe it’s a test.”
“I think she remembers the past”
“Well maybe she should forget it because he’s dead and the dead should rest.”
“Oh no it’s starting again, my friend. She just woke up from her nap.”
“Get off me you bum I need to get to my son”
“Princess please get down on your knees. You know what happens to females who disrespect males.”
“Hush little prince” She cries out loud and takes the gun. Fires once, fires twice and no one around her makes a sound

Great unique piece, what splendid use of wordplay. I loved the medieval vocabulary and the dark imagery it invoked. Thanks for the read.
