The love melted away
Anger set in
There is a price to pay
When you live in sin
I can't let it go
I won't say good-bye
I won't let it be so
I won't let it be a lie
Mistakes we made
Can't be undone
The tracks are laid
And niether of us has won
Lost in this world
Searching for the way
To get my life unfurled
And live from day to day
Without his voice
Only memories of times past

That those memories will be the last
He's let go completely
Not sure if he can handle the pain
We can't talk discreetly
We have nothing to gain
I'm left without closure
I'm left without a friend
I'm left without my composure
I'm left with sins to amend
He doesn't believe
He can't ask why
He thinks he has to leave
Instead of try
I mourn the loss of a friend
Knowing he is unwilling
I just can't comprehend
What about her he finds so thrilling
No Doubt comes to mind
As I slip into acceptance
There is no way to rewind
And cure him of his reluctance
Maybe with time he'll see
That all I want to be
Is his confidant and trustee
Instead of an absentee
In his life.
But for now I'll let sleeping dogs lie
Instead of using an alibi
Because one day he'll wake up and see
What he's missing without me

This is my way of saying Good-bye Michael. Maybe not in my heart, because you'll always have a place there. We spent too much of our lives together for me to just forget about you. Good luck in your life. I hope things stay happy.

Well, be glad for this "miracle" for you've now seen the fraud with a facade. The time you've spent can never be replaced nor should it be, and if you tried you have every right to love him. However, love and being in love are obviously 2 totally different concepts.

best poem you ever wrote and im not being funny and lorrie its not the thrill its the securty the trust i hope you can understand we cant be in each others lifes im sorry but this has to be the closure.
