Primal understanding
Of a world gone so wrong
The void begins to fill
With emotions not yet understood
An anger shakes these foundations
It riles against these walls
The pristine knowledge
The omniscient presence
Shudders for the first time
An unexpected reaction
To an unexpected event
For the first time
There is a loss of words
Confusion sets in
How did it ever get so far
The fire burned for so long
Yet was left ignored
After years of feigned innocence
It realizes to late
The walls crumble
As though it were only sand
All would remember this day
After the reasons are lost
And the purpose forgotten
They will still recall
When the earth shook
And an ivory tower fell
Please tell me what you think
