Watch the wind
listen to the shadows
feel the earth beneath your hands
race with the trees
and soar with the sky
become a part of the circle
as the wolf cries to the moon
and birds sing to the sky
believe not that you own
this precious world of ours
but think only that you are another piece
to the puzzle in which we all live
so as you sit
just watch the wind
and listen to the shadows.

Rory was right, all three trophy winners were gold. Glad it wasn't my contest, I would have gone into mental stasis.
Bautifully written.

beautiful writing, and sentiments that not only match the picture but speak of how we should view and treat Nature. Very well done.

There's a real sense of connection between all the elements of nature here and I like the way you complete the poetic "circle" by returning to your opening lines. Very well-written.
