Big yella drippin' teeth, an' evil yellow eyes,
An Ee likes to eat warm people-pies!
But don't you worry,
D'ant ya run away,

Love it! My son is 4 now and a real story teller, this sounds exactly like the kind of thing he would love, or write. Gorgeous.

Very Very Sweet
I can see you saying this and watching the smile in your sons eyes.

Thanks Rediscover
Exactly the sentiment that it holds for me. To be honest I did bung it on here, as curiosity, and a dare to my self.

Yeh... My son loved it!
All-right it's crap. Mind you scary is okay, perhaps there's hope!
Thanks for reading anyway Matt.
You know Matt, you can't wrap your children up in cotton wool. It is a big scary world out there sometimes, for all, who are going to engage in it. The reason, I believe, behind your comment, I had already reflected on but I think it healthy to gently help children, learn to deal with their fears.
Not by adding or provoking them of course, there's no need, as they are a natural phenomena. Symbolising them is a way we can learn to deal with such things that are hard to fathom. And this while still embraced in their parents love and protection.
Being taught to deny them, I believe, can end in a troublesome future.
Fears are best faced, not denied. May our hearts be made strong, is what I say!
