In Peace

In loving memory
Of the girl who lives on,
Found within you,
Seared in your soul.
She will never die,
For Death's a parting
And she isn't gone;
Your heart's the last place
For her to lie
Without longing or strife,
Your angel forever.

    Good

    Very well written. Your feelings surface and carry the emotional force behind your words. A touching and eloquent description of the human experience of dealing with death. This is a very well structured poem with a heart. This is a strong poem , full of emotion and passion.

      Thank you. She was a poet, so I thought the best way to remember her would be through poetry.
