free

when my master is away
i sleep in my litter box dreaming of salmon, tuna, and caviar
i go outside and jump in the puddles or sneak past the hot dog man and steal his hot dogs and mustard
i walk over to my friend's place and together we have slumber parties talking about the cutest guys cats around
or date one actually and come back with a smile on my face
when my master is not home i jump up on the couch and watch all the days of my life and in the world of cats
then i go into the kitchen and sniff around only to find delicious milk or a big juicy savoury steak and wolf it down
then i walk over to the pets nail/massage place where i get my nails done and a massage and tummy rub to go with that
i have my own party calling all my peeps to party away with me and meet a handsome attractive cat who wants my number
when my master is gone
i go to my friends house to comfort her over the rejection of her boyfriend Jake
when my master is gone or away on business
in the house i am truly free

    An enjoyable, funny write. Love the way you have made this cat seem like a teenage girl, and writing it all in lowercase was very effective, I thought. It makes it more catlike.

    omg this is the greatest poem yet!

    and since i am happy kitty kat you get brownie points and am immediatly on my good side. i loved this poem, wolfing it down, the handsome cat, the partys. you made me lol, yup, best poem so far. this is great.

    I agree that was really fun poem!

    I am sure glad now my CAT doesn't talk...perhaps it's
    his payment for listening so well! That was truly
    enjoyable to read...i laughed at the thought of my cat
    being addicted to soap opera's on tv!
    and here we thought cats really didn't like each other
    that much! who knew!
