She writes love on her arms
For the whole world to see
Forever hoping and praying
And asking "Why me?"
She cries and she cries
And the pain makes it worse
She hopes really soon
She'll arrive in a hearse
To that cold, sterile room
In that shiny black coffin
And thoughts like these consume
A fragile, broken mind
She writes love on her arms
So the whole world will see
That today, there is hope
For you and for me
She writes love on her arms
For the whole to know
That as long as there's someone
With a heart who will show
She writes love on her arms
For you, for me
To show us that we're not alone
Author notes
She writes love on her arms is a teen suicide prevention group.

Truly stunning. This is by far my favorite entry so far. I can relate easily to it because I too support this group. I love the easy flow of it and the meaning behind it. My favorite part of it is:
"She cries and she cries
And the pain makes it worse
She hopes really soon
She'll arrive in a hearse
To that cold, sterile room
In that shiny black coffin
And thoughts like these consume
A fragile, broken mind"
It gives such hope. Absolutely breathtaking.
Thankyouu for entering my contest, and good luck.
