souls survival (gold trophy)

Missing image

further you drift from me
life slowly ebbing
as my sun slowly eases from view
soon only soul will remain
adrift upon life’s sea

    Yes, and Yes

How absolutely beautiful Dee: accepting of our next step - pure soul! Beautifully written. And thank you for your kind words about my work. I appreciate your feedback.

This beginning is sad. Moving. The ebbing of life and the setting of the sun. All the warmth and light of life is gone...But then the soul survives and continues its journey. This is lovely and delicate. GLAD I read it.

You have made a lovely metaphor here, Dee. I haven't been in this situation, and I imagine that much of the ability to cope depends on personality and beliefs. This image of survival is very comforting. Congratulations on your gold.
