A creative soul is a restless soul;
Wanderlust in nature, never content.
Never still, always searching.
Searching for the truth, the beauty
And the mysterious.
It is curious and cautiously optimistic.
It seeks spontaneity and depth,
Meaning and complexity.
It dances to its own rhythm,
Ebbing and flowing with the tides of time.
It seeks to find wisdom beyond the surface.
It is deep and sometimes moody,
But sometimes euphoric.
Always questioning, never satisfied,
It desires more.
There must be something more than what we can see!
A creative soul,
Always hoping to find that something more.

Thank you for entering the "Celebrating Poetry and poets" competition. Although your "creative soul" is not SPECIFICALLY a poet - it could refer to other kinds of creativity - visual arts, music etc -, the entry seems sufficiently close to the theme to go forward for further judging. (I am running a little late, owing to computer problems, and am still only making a preliminary sorting of the entries), but I hope to finalize judging either today or Monday.)

The only typo is that its in line 9 does not need the apostrophe.
You have well described the nature of poets, painters, singers, muscians, and anyone one else drawn to recreating beauty from his/her own being. We of that breed are indeed reaching for that elusive, unknown bliss that teases us by remaining just on the periphery. Thanks so much for entering my contest! -

I loved the part "Always questioning, never satisfied, it desires more" How true is that? You have said such truthful words here. Then your last line of the whole poem is the most truthful of all. Great job here! Wow. You could win gold on this!

This poem does have a lot of meaning. Most of us are like that, never truly satisfied, always searching for that something to fill our void. And when we do get there, it still ain't enough. You did very well with this one. When I can, hope to read more from you. -
Steeped in truth
This just resonates so deeply with me. As a creative sort I recognize all the qualities you describe and understand the need and the intrinsic rewards of just creating. And when another connects with our creative pursuits it becomes a wonderful validation and connection to other like minded souls.
The last stanza absolutely nails it.
