an icy chill running
down your spine
a vast ocean -
waves loud and crashing
a sense of calm
a breath of fresh air
blue
not a bold colour
more of one that
flows and
blends in
Maybe thats the point.
Why are colours often contradictory?
or just easily divided into opposites?
Icy and calming - not
things usually associated
with one another
a colour of the good guys
a good background
a fading colour

Very nice piece. Blue is my favourite colour, I find it a nice calming colour. Great write.

I like how you compared the color blue with different aspects of nature among other things. It's really deep, and i would consider it a poem if anything. I loved this one the most out of your color studies, not because it's my favorite color, but because you take the word and you apply it in so many ways.

A very conversational write. It holds your attention throughout the piece, but what I most liked was the little drizzle and the word rain. An effective use of the period. Many underestimate the value of a few little dots, not you. Clever and interesting write. Well done.
