Upon the Water

She lay in quiet contemplation
The sun slowly setting down
Her awareness slowly gained
While her body lay in languid peace
Inspiration seeps from her fluid limbs
Reaching out to one and all
A trickle of wetness bathing creation
Casting her serenity into the world
Into the hearts of man
A Venus placed upon the water

A contest entry

I have carefully thought it out and have come to the conclusion... What?... Who you talkin' 'bout?
