and tint dolent earth's cuckold
under glint of firey sky's ire.

Ouranos' manly pride, cast aside
under aquamarine tides of Cythera-
flowering myrtle alongside silty sand,
framing isle's wide rugged terrain.
There, the hands of Oceanus held
a pearl of paradox; just expelled,
and born of betrayal freshly quelled,
the iconoclast of innocence: Aphrodite in shell.
