Lies

your lies
they consume me
clawing
and gnarling their roots deep
deep
deep
wrapping and wrapping

they feed me
Quod me nutruit me destruit
what nourishes me also destroys me
what lies I've become
soon to be less than nothing

Author notes

I know I'm going to get questions about this,Quod me nutruit me destruit- It means what nourishes me also destroys me

Does it seem out of place here?

Anything that can help me make it better

The Latin fits in just so.

What are the lies that feed and destroy.?
    Is it flattery? or
Is it the insidious type where the other seems to know you so well, and you seek their opinion , knowing that their views erode your self confidence?
I love the idea of lies
    consuming
    clawing
    gnarling.

The title doesn't do it justice
I'd like to see the "Feed and Destry" motif in there

I didn't like the last "Nothing" after "Less than nothing" I think you could just leave the last word out

    or maybe end with

    "soon to be less than

    nothing"
