Am I the object of desire,
the fuel to ignite her hidden fire,
laying deep inside her hoary heart,
like morning embers awaiting a spark.
Will each kiss stoke the coals
to heat the furnace, to meld our souls,
while we lie our skins ingrained
where finger touches, love is stained
and each caress along nirvanas road,
leads to satisfaction of sighs bestowed.
Within the core of twisted sheets
burns our sun as bodies meet,
two to one like chimera mixed,
our hypnotic breath remains transfixed
upon the lips of whispered bliss,
while aurora spirals down heavens abyss
and when love is done, earth is still,
will my promises still fulfil
the empty space by your side
or will you leave our love denied?
So I ask, “is this what you require,
just an object for your desire”?
