Hush little baby
Don't you despair
Someday mommy
Will have you right here
Someday mommy will be okay
When she can see her baby
One of these days
Mommy's sorry that you had to go
But someday you'll see
And someday you'll know
You'll understand why mommy cries every night
You'll understand why she wants to take flight
Mommy wants to grow angel wings too
So she can fly to heaven and be with you
Hush little baby
I'll see you someday
And in my arms you'll always stay
Hush little baby
Mommy loves you so
and Mommy sees you up there
With your wings all aglow
Mommy knows that our happy up there with the stars
But Mommy doesn't like it when you're gone that far
Hush little star
in the shade of the night
Who glows so bright
In the soft moonlight
Mommy will be waiting for her falling star
Even though you are so very far
But she'll be there to catch you when you fall from the sky
And Mommy will no longer have to cry
I'll keep you safe away from harm
And hold you tightly in my arms
Hush little baby
Don't you cry
Because every night mommy
Will watch the sky
Even though they look so very far
Mommy will wait to catch her shooting star.

Powerful piece, so very tear inspiring (in my interpretation). The prose was biting without being overbearing. It gave subtle direction as to the foundation behind, enough to allow the reader to approach it without becoming overwhelmed. Very nice write.
