Pliable little icons to test Spiderman's true popularity,
shelved in superior boxes for the discerning child purchaser.
But first, of course, the malleable planet must be bought,
to start any collection, but ten times the cost of little aliens.
So many to complete ensemble, all built for various purposes,
green men equipped with forces and power to rival Superman.
Emerald becomes the colour of all clothing and other assorted must haves,
each embedded with label because they can't be imitations!
Frenzied buying with tantrums ensuing should one piece not be acquired,
so beware parents, the assault has begun,
encroaching on wallets, to keep children happy, but parents poor!
