Storm at Work

Did you ever rise

To see a storm at work?

The blowing of the wind

As the trees shake and jerk?

The sky above changes again, and again.

Like shaking the sheets, the clouds at work.

I saw this before it seems

Old wringer washer jerks at work

Around the clothes, going up and down.

  Billowing with a swishing sound.

Pockets of air cough in between.

As water and soap bubbles slop and roll.

Soon the rain will fall

  The streaks of lightening flash.

A chasing who?

  The cold and dampness

Soon felt by everywhere.

  The storm is at work.

A very odd poem. Your rhyme scheme is perched precariously on the fence between distracting and brilliant. Make sure that the rhyme you've chosen is on purpose in order to double check yourself.

Overall this is a well written poem!

    Blessings,
