Forests of evergreen spanning far and wide
Providing homes, shade, and places to hide
The animal world knows their true value and charm
It is under the trees where animals swarm.
Mother Nature loves and nurtures the trees
Provides cool water and a nice warm breeze
In exchange the trees provide warmth and care
To the animals it promises to always be there.
Humans come and destroy the whole thing
The birds take flight and sing
When a tree dies
Mother Nature Cries
Homeless animals with no where to go
Find themselves in the middle of the traffic flow
Humans have built cities and cars
So that the animals can't even see the stars.
The deer frolic away
With only one thing left to say
When a tree dies
Mother Nature Cries
Humans know not of the things they were given
Clean air and beauty is what they have driven
Away from God's good graces
Gone and no sign of their traces.
And the wind flows and sings a sad song
For all the trees and the animals are gone
When a tree dies
Mother Nature cries.
