Moon enfolds night aglow
in borrowed golden light
silvered by ancient sands
her longing eye in darkening sky
locked in trance, alone
long ago taken from drift
caught between earth and sun
poet’s gaze finds answers
to questions echoing calls
from wants and wishes
poured into the air, and
the sea holds the moon too
lifting essence into rise and fall
like aromas of passion filling
sheets of breezy air,
soft pillows of clouds
silvered purple wisps
hold the love of night
and seem to portray
the canvas curve of the world
for brushed thoughts to hold forever
in eternal shimmering seas
ever passing through
spaces of our beings
become filled with light and love;
all that we truly seem to be.

This is a beautiful depiction of a poet's gaze through your perspective.
The vivid images and poetic devices make the poem enjoyable.

Well done brother. You've cooked up some nice hits here. "Hi, my name is Dez and I'm a met addict." LOL Write on, poet. One.

Excellent blend of nature beauty, love and passion.
The moon has that special feel that inspires the most delicate and also passionated thoughts.
Poet seeing the moon as his lover, or seeing his lover as the moon... You show it here so well. Love the subtle sensuality of your verses. A wonderful poem!!!
