The wind carries a difficult tune
notes born amongst autumn’s weak
in a whirlwind gathers
tired leaves barely breathing
Rise above naked trees
remembers springtime rains
dripping diamonds
shading eyes on summer trips
glued to magical pages
Bodies cut in sweet abandon
lover’s hearts withstand every season
winter’s melody, perched on icy cleft
no robin’s breast to hold its song
exhales in chilling white
Autumn‘s weak, under fallow tomb
snow angels and sled tracks its epitaph
rest for now under blanket of cold
wait for shade from up above
