I wrote this poem based on a Mitch Albom's book titled 'for one more day'.It's a story about Chick Benetto,who blamed his mother for the divorce of their happy family.For years,he was ashamed and drifted away from his mother.His mother's death woke him,and he became an alcoholic and destroyed his life.He was in a coma for some time,as a result of a two time suicide attempts,which is where he met his mother and all of the family's dirty secert.It made him realise his love for his mother,and before he departed back to Earth,he told his mother the three words he had never uttered. I LOVE YOU.That's why it is call for one more day.A gifted day for Chick Benetto to tell his feelings to his dead mother,and to forgive himself.
