Just when you think people may have learned something... no. I am married to an older Vietnam vet.. movies and books are coming out about Iraq vets already it makes me so angry... Pat Cornwell has THE BOOK OF THE DEAD out in her Kay Scarpetta series I read one chapter and trashed it. The trend will be Iraq soldier's murder like Vietnam vets this is WRONG and bad a history repeat and will play out to the public .. I get so angry.
I was very angry when I wrote this , not so much any more. I can not change people . My husband joined and had your back he was an active Marine for fourteen years. So many had and have your back America. I am so very proud of today's Military they keep giving under tremendous stress and dangerous times that will not let up.
We need to show support to the bravest and best.

You are Preaching to the choir, when you are talking to me. But it didn't start in 65 at Da Nang. Us guys with MAAG and Later MACV had all ready been there for years under Gen. Paul D. Harkins. When the 3rd came in Mar 65 to Da Nang and Nha Trang we were there to welcome them. For us it was business as usual. Enough of this, The past is past.
