High up upon this peak,
mountain tops all around.
The sky is a crystal blue,
the clouds are blowing by.
Rays of sunshine are pouring,
wonderful reflective streams.
I felt like I was in heaven,
taken by the wonders of this scene.
Peacefulness left unbroken,
I’m at one with the sky.
This feeling overwhelms me,
all I can do is sigh.
For days now I have climbed,
just to be alone.
To share this one perfect moment,
in the reflections of my mind.

I love the very visual take of this piece. One moment of time, viewing beauty, captured by the eye of the writer for the reader to immerse themselves in, not to mention the emotions and the thoughts that it envokes.
